Tv-out VS xbox

I am desperate to get my divx movies on the big screen..And i just recently got 300bux from my grandma..So im wondering wich is best for watching divx movies on the tv, a graphics card with tv-out(or any other type of card) or an modded xbox..

I'am not sure how good divx support on the xbox has become or will become.

What I do know is that the tv-out quality on the Matrox Marvel G450etv, is very good, works great all current versions of divx and also works with vobsub. But it's a rather expensive card if all you want is divx playback on TV.
