    xvid movies colours screwed up

    I downloaded these 2 movies:
    40.days.and.40.night.dvdrip.xvid.deity
    about.a.boy.dvdrip.xvid-deity

But the colors are all f#cked up, there is to much blue. All the people are having blue faces. It's just like a movie with the Smurfs.
Does anyone has this same prob? It's only with the xvid.deity rips.
I got almost every codec, nimo, xvid,...
Are those just bad rips, or do I need another codec?

    thanx in advance

    I downloaded

    showtime.dvdrip.xvid-deity

    and dvl-episode2a / b (also xvid)

...and I got the same problem!

But that are no bad rips i've seen screenshots of the ep2-rip and it's all normal, so it must be something else!

      Same here

I also have the same problem with the episode 2 rip. I have a thing called ffdshow which lets me mess with the Hue and Gamma and such. But, I can't find the right combination of tweaks to fix the color. If you can find it I suggest downloading it and messing with the options.

Ok, I've been messin with this, and I found a combination for ffdshow, you can the config file for it at:

Similiar (or maybe identical) problem here... the video one guy sends me has blue in place of red and red in place of blue. What's he doing? How do I compensate?

I had the same problem. I just used the FourCC changer on the file, replayed it and it worked!

            Nimo = evil

I think I know what your problem is, I had it too and I solved it.
For a while I installed Nimo Codec Pack version 5 build 7 and it seemed to work fine. After installing build 8, the latest one, everything got messed up. My media player didn't work anymore, my DIVXs got scrambled images and weird colors, really annoying.
I uninstalled build 8 and reïnstalled build 7, and now everything works the way it should be.
            Good luck!
