weird audio codec?

i'm attempting to play a divx movie i just downloaded and it gives me the following error "The audio codec identified by the format tag 2000 is required to play this file. ". could anyone tell me where i could find this codec or if there is a problem with this file?

(Tag 2000) is the identification of an AC3 audiostream. Playback requires the downloading and installation (and registering to Windows) of an AC3 filter/codec such as IVIAUDIO.AX or similar.

If you presently have a software DVD player, such as WinDVd, installed, it will play your file properly...
