divx player for the tv ???

hello and greetings from buenos aires...i just joined this group so forgive me if i sound a bit dim,but i have been divxing for over a year now. My question is...is there a hardware player on the market to play back cdr movies encoded in divx on a television? I know you can do it with a video card and tv out but it causes me so many damn problems to configure and i don't really want to leave my pc in the living room! Something like a dvd player or vcr is what i'm thinking of and if not available how far down the road are we to a release?

I don't know of a SetTop box, but there is probably a third party who makes them with the Sigma Designs Xcard. Of course, you could always buy that card and wire it from your PC to your TV, but you already said you didn't want to do that. How about adding a cordless TV-out card?
