OK, here's the problem.
I am ripping a couple of movies right now and the playback of 'em was two days ago perfect.
but suddenly any avi-file won't play. It doesn't mather which program I use to playback avi-files, the used program hangs itself just after it has resized the window to the moviefile.
I don't know if it is a codec problem. I have heard that you can reset the list of codecs in the registry then reinstall the codecs. that of course only applies if it is a codec problem.
what else could it be? one solution could be that I have test-installed the ogg-codec. could it be because of that? a problem is that the codec doesn't have an uninstall file.
Anyone with a solution?
