cannot play this strange asf file

I believe that it's possible you misread the audio codec description. It was most probably "0x160", which is the "DivX audio" codec that is installed as part of the DivX v.3.11 package.

I have dl the DivX Codec 3.11 Alpha from

http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divxcodec.html

and installed.

Then I tried to play the file again, but the error still pop up as the screen capture attached.

hmmm....what other method can i try? thanksss.....

I am not aware of any audio codec with the identifier of "16D". I can only speculate that your file header is corrupt...
