Sometime over the past few weeks, I suspect because of a driver/app upgrade, I lost the ability to play movies on my TV using the TV-out feature of my NVIDIA Ti-4200 video card.
In clone mode, the desktop and all apps including Zoom Player 2.x and Media Player 9.x appear as normal on the TV, but movies (all formats) now are not being displayed. The display area within the players (or in full screen mode) is blank: movies play as normal on the PC monitor.
Questions: Did NVIDIA’s latest drivers or Microsoft’s Media player 9.x, surreptitiously add in new “digital rights†software to prevent movies from being played through the TV-out feature? How can I fix this?
