    Playback Problems in XP

    Hi
Recently, some of my divx files that were playing fine have suddenly been rejected by WMA and all it similar programs (Zoom etc). Even the Divx player bundled with divx 5 fails to play one of them. Zoom keeps telling me:
"Unable to create filters, this may be due to a corrupt or missing file."
I've also just downloaded WMA 9, but I'm not sure that that's the main problem.
Also, is it possible to have WMA 6.4 installed on Win Xp home? I've tried but Xp keeps refusing to let me install it.

    Hi again
I just found out how to access WMA 6.4 in XP, but that doesn't help me play the files either. It just says that no combinations of filters could be found to render a video stream or something like that and refuses to play the file.

Try reinstalling the DivX codecs and also DirectX.
