    mpg file problems

I've recently downloaded a movie and at first when I tried to play it it said I need a codec. So, I downloaded codecs and tried playing it again but this time the error message changed. The new error message is "The Operations cannot be performed because the pins are not connect"

I don't know why this is happening

on another note, after downloading those codecs my other movies started to playback with sound. So I'm assuming there's nothing wrong with the codex and it might be the movie file?

The movie file is in .mpg format

When you say "So, I downloaded codecs..." did you by any chance get the ones automatically in windows media player? If you did, that might be a problem because sometimes those arent enough or dont work well for some reasons. Try getting the NimoCodec pack> And also, try getting another movie player like "Tha Playa".
