preview partial from eDonkey

Dear all
It is well-known that there are some fake files put on eDonkey, especially some divx files. Most of the size of movies are so huge that it takes such a long time for downloading them.
If you just downloaded a fake movie, ......................
I had tried a application "part" to extract unfinished divx file to verify if it's real. But I can't playback in players.
Is there any way for me to extract the unfinished divx file in eDonkey for verification??

You could load the file in DivFix and select Rebuild Index to view the temp. d/l file.Remember to STRIP the index(in DivFix) before continuing the download.

Or, instead of Edonkey, you could try Emule. It lets you preview movies when you have about 100mb dled of a 700mb movie. Emule also find sources better, as it is open-source.

Copy the temp file of the movie to another place and rename it to .avi,.mpg whatever it is. Then if it still doesn't work try and divx fix it. oh and with eDonkey I think to be able to preview a movie file u need the start of it downloaded.
