Problem With the AC3 Codec

I have a divx in AC3 and when i installed the AC3 codec, the sound played in a deep sounding slow motion....I tried 4 different ac3 packages and they all did the same thing...Anyone know the problem?

I am assuming it is happening in all videos and which players have you used?

im playing them in windows media player...

did you try to uninstall the AC3 codec then reinstall it?

Like I said, I installed and uninstalled 4 differnent ones from differnet sites.
