    Video-audio sync....

I have a couple movies in which the video and audio goes out of sync when played on VirtualDub, but when I play it with WMP (latest version) I don't get any audio sync problems. Also when I load them in VirtualDub, I get that "VBR audio stream detected" message.

I just want to know if my movies are REALLY out of sync or not, and whether or not it's worthwhile to try and fix them.

VirtualDub is NOT intended to be used as a player. It is a video editing program, which includes a basic playback function in support of editing capabilities.

As long as your video plays properly in a "proper" player (such as Windows Media Player), you don't have to concern yourself with editing information messages (such as the reference to a Variable Bit Rate [VBR] audiostream)...
