Errormessage in Gspot

I got following errormessage in Gspot when im trying to render a Xvid movie at my homesystem, it goes as follows:

0x8004012:VFW_E_CANNOT_RENDER: No combinations of filters...

Ï have installed Xvid codec and Ac3 Audio Codecs, But what the h... do i do from here, im stuck, i have tried to install them from top to bottom forwards and backwards, from right to left and from left to right, and then picked up a 1000 more drivers to try to solve the problem, now im asking you WHAT AM I DOING WRONG, heeelp p.p.p.please (as Roger Rabbit would have said)!!

In order to determine which codec(s) you need for a particular .AVI, you should do the following:

1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDub or NanDub

2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
