Reliable player of mp4 files

I've encoded some divx files in mp4 with a special feature in Neodivx. I used to play them with a good player whose name I can no longer remember. The problem is all my players (BSplayer, Windows MPlayer and Quicktime) cannot read these files. Could you give a list of reliable mp4 players so that I can find back this (or another) good player. Thanks in advance.

Using the terms good and reliable, about any of the current mp4 players, is probably a bit of a stretch. But anyway here is a list of players and filters that may enable you to view the files.

The DivX player (the standalone player that comes with the divx5 codec)
wmp4player
Appel QuickTime player (The latest version). I think some people like this, although I don't understand why.
Mpegable player
Mpegable DS filter (for playback in wmp, BSplayer et al.)
3ivx DS filter (also for playback in wmp ...)
