Hey guys,I had divx and xvid on my comp to start with,everything worked fine except for ac3 stuff so I downloaded nimo. That screwed things up for me,couldnt get image on xvid anymore.So I uninstalled nimo but problem was still there,I could only watch divx stuff.I then downloaded tsunami but when tsunami was downloaded I could neither watch divx nor xvid nor ac3(all I get is sound). Instead of video i get all those coloured pixels. Ran a gspot, it said video should come up but doesnt.I uninstalled tsunami so now again i can watch only divx stuff.Also ever since i got windows media player 9 colour keeps changing on mymonitor for divx movies.Anyone willing to offer a helping hand..cheers

try loading the file into WMP 6.4, or bsplayer. If that doesn't solve your problems, search for FFDSHOW here www.google.com -

Thanks very much for your reply. This may sound silly but ever since I upgraded my windows media player, I cant use the old 6.4 version. Also, I cant seem to remove windows media player from control panel(nor does it have an uninstall option in start menu). How could i safely remove windows media player 9 so that i could install the older version again. Tahnks so much againComment

Than you very very much. My computer is alive again!! All I had to do was download bsplayer. but xvid still doesnt work on windows media player 9.How can i safely remove wmp 9 since i cant in control panel nor is there an uninstall option for it in its folder or start menu. Is there any reason for me to download Fdfshow now that things work on bsplayer??Also is there any risk in downloading the tsunami filter now? Thanks so very much again
