xvid codec and trojans

could anyone advise me on the right xvid codec to use.a friend of mine downloaded one that contained a trojan called w32.manifest and i don't want to do the same.

use the xvid codec in the pack. It is fine.

thanks.after i download nimo do i have to go into the file to enable the codecs or are they all set up for you?

you select them in custom installation, and make sure you don't get two of the same type, because it will probably cause conflicts...

ok i have nimo.what codecs do i install on a custom setup?what would happen if you did a full install?what are the best codecs to select?

custom install is better. See my other post in your newest thread.
