WMV is, in fact, the successor to the old ASF format...

I like RM/RMVB more than asf/wmv and the former is also widely used.
Vegas 4.0 may be useful to u on asf/wmv

                divx

i had a go at divx . it is amazing quality..
                but got confused about
what format you save as ..
is it avi or mp4 ??
and i had trouble with the audio..
from what i understand, microsoft has spat the dummy
and wont let people have access to MS bits of divx.
shame because divx is such good quality...
                bugger !!
