xvid on Mac?

Does anyone know if you can view an Xvid movie on Macs?

You MAY (I've not tried this myself) be able to accomplish this by using the cross-platform 3IVX codec, which has the ability (DEFINITELY on the PC side, and POSSIBLY on the Mac side) to play back DivX and Xvid, as well as 3IVX encoded videos.
