no sound on playback

Hey if anyone could help you would save me from cintinuing to struugle with this issue. i have a few Xvid movies that will playback the video but it gives an error loading codec message, and as a result i have no sound. i have divx 3.11 codec, Xvid codec and Tsunami Filters 3.9.9 all installed. i've also tried nimo codec or something like that. please help. i'm at wits end.

uninstall the nimo pack but keep the tsunami, it seems that nimo can cause conflictions between codecs...

ok did that but still no sound. any other advice?

to everyone else: If you have any codec problems with nimo, simply uninstall nimo and get the tsunami filter pack from uncasms' website.
