Virtualdub

I have downloaded a movie but it is very bad quality when i play it in windows media, even though its 1400Mb big. now i tried to view it with virtualdub and it is incredible high resolution. What do i do to get to see this movie in other players in that high quality?

Try BSPlayer or the older (but more reliable) WMP 6.4 . . .

BSPlayer dosent work either. i always get the same kind of image. its like theres a residual of the last frame onto the next one and so on, making the movie unwatchable. in virtualdub however, its very clear and good quality...
i dont know what to do....

the movie looks like the attached screenshot on normal players , and normal on virtualdub.
what ca i do.. Please anyone

Try direct streaming with Virtualdub:

1. Open file in Virtual/nandub
2. Set both Video and Audio tabs to Direct Stream Copy
3. Go to File -> Save as AVI... and give a name to the new file

i was missing ffdshow.. that was all.
now it works fine on every player.
