I am new to the whole XVID scene, and was looking for a little help. My friend told me to install this XVID installer that had numbers on it, no name...And it didnt work...SO he sent me this other file that had 3 different installers in it..One called Diety Dix codec 4, divx ac3 codec, and the last one was called xvid installer...Now i think the other installer that i ran beofre i got these was probably like or the same installer as the xvid installer.. Anyhow..I installed the diety one and the ac3 one. So far all of my movies had worked except one..I was getting the error in the codec file when loading and was getting picture but no sound. I read the other post about uninstalling some file..but i dont think i even have that..How can you tell what xvid files have been installed or not? and lastly, can anyone help me get sound...its the movie rules of attraction, if that helps...i thought maybe some movies just wont work...anyhow..any help would be greatly appreciated!!
