    Grand Tech Camera Codec

I've downloaded some stuff off the net(no copyrights) and I'm unable to view it. All I get is sound. When I open it up in Virtual Dub it tells me that the codec is Grand Tech Camera Codec.

Does anyone know where I can download this Codec from? I've tried numerous searches but haven't been able to find it.

    Try going to:

    1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDub or NanDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

I too had this problem recently. For some reason VirtualDub is reading the new Intel's I.263 codec as Grand Tech Camera codec.

You can read more about this codec and download it from
      http://members.aol.com/SlavTrainr/STsPage.html.

If for some reason this codec does not help you then you can download a freeware program: AVIcodec from
      http://www.moviecodec.com/download/tools.shtml.

This program will help you to identify which codecs you will need to download and install to get your movie up and running. There are other programs at this link as well but this program is the one that worked best for me.

      Hope this helped!
