80040209 error, HELP

Hi all,

I have this MPEG file I'd really, really, sincerely like to see, but it won't play... Tested it with Gspot and this is what came out:

File is MPEG (.MPG/.MPEG/.VOB)

blah blah...

DirectShow was unable to play the file. The only information returned is the form of an error message. The full error message is as follows:
- Error number: 0x80040209
- Error name: VFW_E_NOT_CONNECTED
- Full Error Text: The operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected.

What to do?

Try playing with a DVD player software, such as PowerDVD.

I fixed the problem...
The needed codec was InterVideo.

Salute the lamers who make more and more codecs (based on the original DivX)...
