    No Sound On My Movies!

I have some movies that dont have any sound. Do i need to get a special decoder? Ive tried playing them in Divx, WMP, winamp, quicktime, and even global Divx (does this one do anything different then the other version?) Please help me as i dont want to lose these movies!

oh ok......here is what i get:

          Audio Format:

name: ac3 (0x2000) "Dolby Laboratories, Inc"

status: Gspot was unable to find an audio codec which will decompress this format. DirectShow was not able to render it either. You will most likely need to obtain an audio codec to get sound from this media clip

Well now you just grab AC3 audio codec.

You can get from NIMO's Codec collection pack.

Download the Nimo Codec Pack, a collection of all the frequently used codecs and filters

            Or Tsunami's Codec Collection.

Download the Tsunami Codec & Filter Pack, a collection of all the frequently used codecs and filters

Install just one collection not both. Restart your PC and playback your movie.

Suggestion : In most situations, you do not need to install codec/filter packs and certainly not every codec/filter that comes with these packs. In fact, you may run into problems if you install too many codec/filters on your computer. It is Highly recommended that you only install the codec/filters that you absolutely need.

The newest version of tsunami is located at the link at the bottom of this post. It is UncasMS' post that has a link to it.
