Videos are playing too fast??

ok.. downloaded the fast and furious trailer to test things out.. i had tsunami codec pack installed... ok... playing... the 1:30 min trailer finishes in 30 min... why is the video playing so fast?!?! ok uninstall that.. try nimo... same problem... try with a wmv file.. same problem... i really dunt get this.. if anyone knos how to fix this problem help!!!

this happens in mpeg files too not jus avi.. so here a shot of the mpeg info... hmm.. is it possible that having an onboard sound card can fuk up my video playback?? videos with no sound seem to play fine...

edit: ive tried about 5 players but all had the same problem.. but they seem to play at normal speed on virtualdub..

i mean 1 min. 30 second trailer... yeh.. and quicktime can play the mpegs at normal speed too... i dunt get it...

the problem is with the "mpeg layer3 audio decoder" when i switch the frequency to "half" and stereo mode to "downmix" ok now its fixed but i have to change the settings every time i start WMP... is there any way i can make it so these setting\s will save??
