Movie just stops!

I`ve been having problems playing back xvid movies.... i`m using windows media player 9 and i`ve also used BSPlayer and still have the same problem, i'm using the tsunami codecs and filters. Anyway to get to the point when playing back movies sometimes it just stops and i have to close mediaplayer and forward from the stop a few seconds to continue. Is there anything i can do to fix this irritating problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Movie just stops!

Try "Divx Antifreeze" have had this problem myself and if like me, you have a pants processor like 233mhz!! nudging the slider over 2mm seems to take 15 years to process!! I didn't seem to find an "Avi - fixer" as I thought I would. Good Luck
