how do i use tv out?

I've just bought a t.v. out lead and connected to my vcr via scart, unfortunately i don't know what to do next. I had assumed it would be plug and play but i'm obviously wrong and i can't work out how to tell my p.c. what i want. My graphics card is NVIDEA GeForce2 GTS/GeForce2 Pro and i'm running 98se. I would really like to sit on the couch to watch my divx movies, please help!

if you want to use tv-out, you first have to unplug your monitor and then connect your tv-out cable, video or s-video, but you have to make sure your monitor is unplugged

turn off the computer, unplug the monitor, plug in the leads, connect the monitor, turn it back on, you should be able to see windows boot screen on your tv.
then its all upto nview, the display setting will see two monitors attached, your monitor and tv, now you can extend the desktop, clone the desktop or send certain applications to it!!

look at nview properties, they are brilliant..
