problems with sound!

hey!
i have been having trouble getting sound on some of my xvid movies... the picture is fine, just no sound!
the thing is, all of the sound codecs i have downloaded doesn't seem to work on windows xp... windows media player crashes whenever i try to play the file, with the codecs installed..
is there any codec that will work on xp??
remember that it works on regular divx movies, its just some of the xvid files that won't work

First you must identify your sound codec by using GSpot program. Then download just the necessary sound codec.
