    Anime Syncing

Trying to sync anime seems nearly impossible.

Anyone have any tips? I used Flask and the audio is way off.

    Thanks,
    Matt

use virtual dub from (www.virtualdub.com) to edit your video and sync audio after you have made your divx final .avi file.

If you will give me more information about he situation (what you are exactly trying to do, what is exactly the problem and the results...) i'll be able to help you in more effective way. but i recommend on virtualdub

And when you get completed synced anime movie, send it to me...

      hey,

Thanks... I used the guide on this site. This is my first rip/encode. I tried Virtual Dub and TeraBits. The problem is, the audio seems to be off by milliseconds at the beginning, and at least 10 seconds near the end. Is this even possible?

Thanks a lot for the help,
      Matt

        Yeah, it possible

        there is something called "FPS"
you know what is NTSC and PAL?
all of that shit is standards.

NTSC means 29.97 Frames Per Second
PAL means 23.97 frame Per second or 24.97 dont remember exactly.

so this is your problem. the audio is in one FPS, and the video is in another

          Audio Synch

I hate to say it, but you may actually need to re-encode the anime with a different encoder.

For instance, FlasKMPEG has a setup that makes it almost impossible to encode the audio and Video incorrectly.

A few other programs also use a similar way of encoding that makes it hard to mess up the audio.
