    DV to Divx

    is there a way to do that?

    Yes - as long as your PC has some type of video-in capability. You'll need VirtualDub (for both capture and conversion) as well as a DV codec (Canopus or MainConcept, perhaps others) and a DivX, or similar, codec...

      im new at this..
      VirtualDub doesnt recognize DV, so i need DV codecs?
      do you know where do i get it?

      btw, i used windows movie maker to capture the movie..
