Either you are overtaxing your CPU or the file does indeed have an audio-synch problem.
Firstly, check that your CPU usage does not max put at close or equal to 100% during playback. If this is happening, lower your post-processing settings and if necessary, your desktop resolution.
If you have determined it is an inherent synch problem with the file, try the following:
1. Load up AVI file in Virtual/nandub
2. Set both Video and Audio tabs to Direct Stream Copy
3. Under Video, go to Frame Rate and select "Change so video and audio durations match (you should see a value similar to the original frame rate).
4. Go to File -> Save as AVI and give a name to the new file
