Dvd Audio

Howdy all,
I have a bunch of MP3 audio cd's I created from cassttes and cd's that I would like to convert to a DVD audio format for play on my standalone dvd player.
has anyone tried this or know how to go about creating something like this?
I tried to create a "data" DVD but the disk isn't recognized by the DVD player I have on the Tv.

Still looks like one heck of a lot of work
Maybe I'll stick to the MP3's for now.
