    What software to cut out parts of a movie...

    such as a asf, wmv, or mpg?

    I got a couple where I just wanna cut out the first 40-50 minutes.

    Most are asf & some are wmv.

      YOu can use TMPGEnc to cut down MPEG files. Go to MPEG TOOLS >> and then use Merge and Cut.

          Look into ASFTools and WM8EUTIL.EXE (with GUI)...
