    OGM sound problem

    Hi,

I have a little problem playing back .ogm-files.

To enable SPDIF-Output for AC3 sound I have set the "Default Waveout Device" as defoult output device as described in oh so many guides. And it works fine except for Ogg/Vorbis audio...

When I play an OGM-File the sound is crappy and sounds as if it is clipped because it is too loud. When I render the file with GraphEdit and replace the WaveOut with a DirectSound Device it sounds just fine.

But it is a bit inconvenient to either manually change the Filter Graph for every OGM file or to constantly switch the default Audio renderer to match AC3/OGG playback...

Any suggestions? Some way to fix OGM playback? Or change the Filters so WaveOut is only used for AC3 streams and DirectSound otherwise?

BTW my Soundcard is a SoundBlaster128. Heard there are issues with that card and OGG/Vorbis but found no solution so far...
