    Brightness/Contrast Adjustment?

Hey. I'm trying to adjust the brightness/contrast of my Xvid encoded file in Windows Media Player, however, when I go to do so, it does nothing. I slide the brightness/contrast sliders around and it doesn't affect the video.

I just downloaded the necessary Xvid codec, I believe. The video does show up - its just a little dark.

Use FFDShow to decode your XviD videos instead. It includes a brightness/contrast filter that will be most useful in your case.

Cool. All I had to do was d/l it. It suddenly worked in Windows Media Player after that. Thanks.

Crystal Player (I love it), is the only player that allows you to adjust the image propertys even in full screen, jus move the cursor to the left and ... voilà
