Load the REVISED .AVI file into VirtualDubMod:

    1) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    2) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

The only possible remaining cause for your problem, that I can see, is the fact that the audiostream is monaural rather than stereo.

What audio settings are you using in TMPGEnc?

i just load up the file in tmpgenc....but the audio settings are.MPEG 1 Audio Layer 1, 48000, mono 192. If i didnt want the audio in the file, on the TMPGEnc program, can i just click Video Only. Would it work then?

It certainly should (If your intention is to create a VCD, make sure to select "System (video only)", NOT plain "Video only")

Setarip.. I recently downloaded a WMV file...I put it into TMPGEnc and converted it into a MPG file. When i open the file with Windows Media Player, the file plays fine. The file is too big to put on a cdr, so i decided to cut it. I used the TMPGE program and it only converted the video and not the sound. I used other MPG cutters and they did the same. ANy answers?

                                EZ CD Creator

Set a rip... i have a problem with my burning process... i have a phillips dvd player....i have these movie files and i just burn them on to a cd.. i do this by not making a VCD but just a DATA cd. when i put it in the cd project, they look to be in the correct order, but when i put it into my dvd player, sometimes they are out of order. I use ez cd creator 5.0 and this is the first time i messed around with it...do you know what i can do for it not to do this..i was thinking it could be the DATE MODIFIED, but im not for sure
