Quite a challenge for you guys out there!!!

Firstly i will give a short brief of my situation! I'm working on NT workstation 4.0(which doesn't support audio anyway) in quite a powerfull computer with T3 ()internet connection. However, the computer is at my office and I have a quite low access which doesn't allows me to install software among other stuff. Using various (let's say) tricks I've managed to install a few stuff (realplayer, windows media player & some codecs like mpg4) but I have had a great difficulty in installing the quicktime codecs and generally the larger DivX files that i download do not work. It would be easy to just fish around and get the administration access but I guess it's quite of a challenge to manage to create an entertainement centre (that's how i call it) inside such a strict platform. I've managed to see some videos but yet i have problem with others. So I'm asking for any advice on how to install codec and software without changing status. I must remind you that it is not possible to download codecs through programs (barred by the system). I believe that if i managed to do this already with my little IT knowledge, U wizards out there will be able to help me finish what I started. To tell the truth, now it's all about the journey and not the target, I could easily get the movies trasfered on a Cd and watch them home, but that is not the point!!!Get it!
It's not the destination, the journey is the essene!!!!

    Thanx

I'm fairly certain that you'll stand a better chance at a hackers' site, of obtaining a meaningful response regarding circumventing NT's security setup...
