I can play my avi's using WMP9, and I can control it (going foward, backwards moving the scrollbar to,any point in the movie. But I have one vid clip (.avi) that will play but I can't control it. Is there some special codec I need to control it. Any help would help me out. Thanx.

1) Load the video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub
2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"
3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
I'm guessing:
A) You didn't create the .AVI
B) It contains only one keyframe -
