Hey! I downloaded a few movies a while ago and when I tried to watch them (firstly in RealPlayer) I had no picture. Then I downloaded the Xvid Codec (I just had Divx) and tried to watch it in the Divx Player. There I had a picture, but no sound! When I play it in RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, QuickTime etc. the sound and the picture don't match (the sound is 20 sec. or so behind). When I play it in Winamp the colors of the pictures are contrast. I think you know how pissed I am! Does anyone know what to do? I'm really so annoyed.
first no picture - then no sound! Arghhh!

welcome florencia
first of all I would recommend using the BS player
for viewing your videos. get it from the software section in divx digest. it is free and excellent
if you view only and if you are not encoding I would use
the mini tsunami filter pack 3.9.6 to view your videos. you can obtain it from the download section of the link below.
good luck!! -
thx shiny#3 for your reply! I downloaded the BS Player but that was REALLY weird! (I tried to look a screenshot but it didn't work, so I've to describe it :S) I had sound - again, but I couldn't see anything. The screen was black with blue dots and green stripes I'll download that filter thingy now... Gonna post later again!Comment

To shiny#3:
I've nothing against your post (or Florencia's one) but I think UncasMS's sticky post is a must-read to help people posting useful information.
