xvid player sound stops after 5-6 min

I really have a weird problem here.

When I play a xvid movie and I did a few , the sound allways stops after 5 or 6 minutes. I tryed wmp9 and bsplayer aswell. When the sound is gone I have to restart the player and after 5 min. the sound is gone again and always is the video still running, but without sound after this damn 5 minutes

I have installed koepi XviD-24062003-1 _ALPHA_ Release code.
( It didn't work with other codes aswell)

I hope someone can help me.

is it the sound that stops? then try to figure out what <b>audio codec</b> is used (ac3 maybe?), and see if the problem lies there

    post virtualdub file information...

GSpot says that this is the audio code:

      ac3 (0x2000) Dolby Laboratories, Inc

and he says aswell that this code is installed.
When the code were not installed than no sound at all would apear, or?

You most likely have the DEMO version of the WinDVD .AC3 filter (IVIAUDIO.AX) installed - It goes mute after approximately 5 minutes...

if that is the case, search for ac3filter and install it

virtualdub: file-open video file; file-file information

              GREAT it's done

NOW I can watch a movie without starting the movie every 5 minutes again.

By the way I installed AC3Filter ver 0.70b

              THANKS AGAIN

I have the same problem, but it's not over after installing AC3Filter ver 0.70b.

The information I get with Gspot is:
                  (S) --> MPEG-2 Demultiplexer --> AC3Filter --> (R)

It's a *.VOB file so this is all the information I can give you (at least that's what I think).
I don't know if you can do anything with this, I'm new with this.

I hope someone can help me with this.
