problems with movie

hi i have recently downloaded a movie from kazaa...
when i had a partial part of the movie i saw it with avi preview and there was no problem, but now i play it, and starts with a green screen and the image is very poor, with shadows, mosaics and many other problems.
is my movie a bad file?
or can i rescue it?

first of all :we are not interested in where you downloaded a movie from!!! mentioning this may be a violation of forum rules!!!


second ... the preview methods of kazaa imply direct show routines.....
to play back your movies get the right codec
check the moviecodec by using gspot ( a freeware tool)

use the BS player or the MV2 player to play back your movies!!! not windows media player.....
both players are freeware tools and available at www.divx-digest.com software section, and they are a lot better than mediaplayer... if you still encounter problems read the sticky post

In addition to that it may happen sometimes that the videofile
has been damaged while downloading from multiple sources...

so redownload or try to use video fixer or avifix on it...both are also available at this site!!
