    general playback error [all codecs]

Ok it looks like if you'd zoom to double size, but don't change the viewed size.

so I only see the centre of the movie, but in double size, while the edge is not seen...

    I allready tried:

    Removing all codecs
    Restart
    Install them again

    Media Player Update

And I don't have a clue how to solve this

Hey my friend. I had the same problem the other day, but I fixed it by turning my Overlay preferences in my GFX cards setting off. Go to you're overlay controls in the display settings of you're gfx card, and change you're overlay settings.

This may not actually be you're problem, but I think it might be. I am here because I was looking for a clue to why all of my movies play back double the size there supposed to be. The overlay solution didnt fix it. So if anyone knows why all my 320x240 or 400x320 videos are all playing back at 640x480 or 800x640 please help.

Thanks, and hope you're problems are fixed enslaved.

    Thanks, Vorpal8.

vorpal8: Are you using the DirectVobSub filter? It has a function that will dubble the picture size if below a certain value (this to make subtitles look better if the picture size is small).
