I've seen the other threads about upside down images with across the web, but none explain why this is so? Does anyone know what causes the upside downness?
.. I'm especially confused as a video I have encoded on one machine, plays back (on windows media player, all default settings) upside down on my laptop and right way up on my pc ... I can't remember what codecs I have on the two machines, and as I am usung default settings everywhere I guess that can be the only difference?
anyway - the video in question is here if it helps: http://www.nofuture.org.uk/xvid%20no%20audio.avi .. if I can't get it to work on ppl's default settings I'll just go back to divX, but at half the filesize for a similar quality image it's worth a shot on the forums I reckon.
