Scrambled Video Files on Playback
Hi there...
I'm new here, looks like a very informative and helpful site.
My prob:
Some of my video files (mpg, avi, asf) appear scrambled upon playback. Not all of these files are scrambled, and not all the time.
Sometimes if a file won't play in WMP, it will play in RealPlayer. Then sometimes the SAME file will NOT play in RealPlayer if I try it again.
My PC crashed a few months ago, and I was able to recover some of these files. So, at first, I thought they may have been damaged (alot were). But now NEW files are having the same prob. I'm no expert (obviously) but I have the feeling it is caused by something not being right in my system (codec or something maybe), so I uninstalled all my media players and codecs and reinstalled them. No dice. Same problem.
Any ideas?
