Audio problem

The audio is missing when I playback xvid compressed movies. I have tryed different players and codecs.

Ex. VirtualDub says: No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format.

sounds like you need an Xvid or it might be AC3 codec.
Can you post here what VirtualDubMod tells you under File information for the offending movie?

The XviD codec is a VIDEO codec. "Miiicke" indicates that ONLY audio playback is lacking...
