no video during playback

whenever i play a .avi file, i can hear the sound, but i see only a blank screen...

all the files i've played before have played properly...and for some reason, they don't show any video anymore...

i'm pretty sure i have every required codec under the sun...

i checked with gspot and it says they're there =/...

can anyone help me out?

How does the filtergraph look like? Perhaps there is some filter causing this ...
