premiere pro problem

i have inserted my video. into timeline right. It does play but

I would like to know how to show all of the file in timeline

if the video is 30secs or whatever i would like to see the frames etc to 30secs

not just thumbnailed at the start and end

If I understand you correct you would like to see the video track filled with frames from that track.

First question: WHY? I cannot think of any advantage or plus this would give over the normal method of presentation.

There are options to change the appearance of the timeline though but not that extensive.
