This post may be more suited in the newbie section... apologies if that is the case.
I have been producing MPEG1 files for use in Director-authored multimedia cdRoms for a while now, and am starting to explore higher quality/lower bit rate formats as a better alternative to MPEG1.
Does anyone have any experience using formats such as DivX or MPEG4 within director-created cdRoms?
Are there any issues related to the ability of the cdRoms to auto-run, and what is the danger of a clients 3 year old computer not being able to support MPEG4 or DivX?
Any suggestions of other high quality/low bit rate formats that can be used within multimedia cdRoms?
Regards and thanks,
Sam
