Live Video Encoding - Adobe Premier 6.5"

I am new person. Please help me.

We have Adobe Premier Pro 6.5 installed in our PC which we use for converting VHS tapes to Real and WM video files. We would like to know if this software can be used to do a live encoding assuming that the feed comes from a digital camera. Please advise. Kindly send links about "Live Video encoding with Adobe Premier 6.5"

im assuming by live encoding u mean realtime encoding? if thats it is, it will surly do realtime with mpeg1/mpeg2. cant say bout other formats.
