Xvid .avi low frame rate [ fine sound]

I play my .avi files, and they had a very slow frame rate after i installed Xvid and FFDShow. Could someone help?!

does this happen with all your avi files
for only with them encoded in Xvid?

if so, use either the Xvid codec to decode your Xvid files
or the FFd show filter.

I myself only use two mpeg4 Codecs.
first one is that Divx pro codec in its last version.
for playback purposes.
this codec can be set to support
also other mpeg4 Codecs



the second one is the Xvid codec for encoding purposes.
